Single is an app designed to help creators, artists, and brands on Shopify increase their sales and monetize their digital content. The app offers a range of features and capabilities to enhance the selling experience.
With the Single app, you can sell downloadable files, live streams, on-demand content, or NFTs. Furthermore, you can set up members-only shops, providing exclusive content, products, discounts, and more to your loyal customers. This feature enhances customer retention and engagement by offering a personalized experience to dedicated supporters.
For those looking to sell video content, Single allows for three monetization models: subscription streaming service, pay-per-view platform, or ticketed live streams. The app provides a branded video player with live chat functionality, ensuring an interactive experience for viewers. The streaming is secure with IP blocking, and the videos support HD audio and video quality. Compatibility with Airplay and Chromecast enables easy streaming to various devices. Users can also highlight featured and exclusive products within the video interface.
Besides video, Single has a strong focus on music sales, enabling artists to sell albums, singles, beats, loops, and more directly from their Shopify store. The app supports various music-related functionalities such as pre-orders, instant gratifications, and bundling. Single also offers daily chart reporting to major music charts like Billboard, OCC, and Aria, ensuring accurate tracking and visibility of music sales performance.
Also, the app allows creators to drive traffic to their store through NFTs, which unlock exclusive content and commerce experiences for dedicated fans and followers. Single accepts payments in various forms, including credit cards and cryptocurrencies. Additionally, the app supports importing existing NFT collections.
With Single, you can sell subscriptions with digital content. You’ll have unlimited membership tiers, customizable billing intervals, and full white labeling. The membership feature is compatible with Shopify’s native account system.
Singe’s subscription plans are usage-based, and they’ll undergo changes starting June 2023. The subscription tiers will be aligned with the amount of content used. For instance, you can have 10 monthly hours of video content with the Starter plan, 100 with Bronze, 500 with Silver, 1,000 with Gold, or have a custom-based agreement with the Entreprise plan. Plus, there’s a 15% transaction fee on all products created in Single at the time of sale, with a maximum fee of $5. Free products, such as free memberships, will incur a $0.15 transaction fee.
