One of the most popular premium Shopify apps with over 4,000 reviews was delisted from the App Store on October 5th, 2022. While it's yet unclear why and what happened, we will definitely try to find out more.
The official website still leads to an app listing that only says, "Vitals: All-in-One Marketing is not currently published on the Shopify App Store. If you have support questions, contact Vitals directly."
On October 6th, the Vitals website has been updated with the following message "We are currently working on a major revamp of our infrastructure, to better accommodate for our next stage of growth. We expect to be ready to onboard new merchants by October 18th."
The Vitals app is extremely popular because it solves many problems of Shopify merchants. From product reviews to upsells, visitor replay, and push notifications. The app subscription costs $29.99 per month.
Why was Vitals delisted from the Shopify App Store
There isn't any official communication from the Vitals team yet, so we can only speculate. The app removals are not rare and happened in the past to some of the big players like GemPages or Oberlo.
The reasons for delisting could be due to policy violations, security risks, or simply sunsetting the app. We hope the Vitals team will resolve the situation and will be back soon.
What are the best Vitals alternatives
Vitals app was top-rated because it combined over 40 different tools into one app. There aren't many similar alternatives, but here are at least a few:
- Fodane (35 tools; $15.99 per month)
- Power Tools Suite (10 tools; $14.99 per month)
- CommerceXpand (28 tools; free)
If the suites type of app doesn't work for you, you can look for a specific app based on your need:
