qikify Checkout Plus is a great way to manage and control your Shopify checkout. It gives your checkout lot of powerful extensions like custom fields, upsell offers, custom banners, etc. Unfortunately, the extensions are available only for the Shopify Plus stores. You can also manage your checkout design and branding, but again if you are on the Plus plan. That isn't by the decision of the app makers, but due to the logic of Shopify where only the Shopify Plus checkout can be customized.
However, there are a still a few things you can do via the app even if you are on the Basic plan:
- Customize payment methods – You can hide, rename, or reorder payment methods based on the specified condition(s). The condition can be anything from the product in cart, to total cart value. This is great for example for hiding Cash on Delivery payment for lower priced products.
- Customize shipping methods – In a similar fashion to payment methods, you can manage what shipping methods are displayed in your checkout.
The app is free for all merchants except Shopify Plus. If you are using Shopify Plus plan, you will need to pay a monthly subscription of $99. That still sounds like a good deal considering how much functionality the app offers. The app is relatively new (released September 2022), but has a very solid 5.0 average rating.
