Shopify has just introduced a new plan called Grow. It’s not a fifth plan, but rather a renaming of the existing “Shopify” plan.
This change makes perfect sense, as explaining to merchants that one of the plans was simply called “Shopify” was always confusing. Internally, we often referred to it as “Standard” to better differentiate it.

The features and positioning remain exactly the same. Just to recap:
- Shopify Basic ($39/month) is the entry-level plan for online stores and gives you everything you need to get started. The biggest differentiators compared to the Grow plan are the lack of extra staff accounts and higher transaction fees.
- Shopify Grow ($105/month) includes up to 5 extra staff accounts and lower transaction fees.
- Shopify Advanced ($399/month) offers up to 15 extra staff accounts, increased checkout capacity and API limits, enhanced chat support, and of course, even better fees.
- Shopify Plus ($2,300/month) is the ultimate plan, with unlimited staff accounts, phone support, and the best transaction fees available.
If you’re thinking about starting your online business, now is a perfect time as Shopify still offers their $1/month for 3 months promotion.
