We continue in our journey to make Candy Rack a native part of the Shopify ecosystem. A few weeks ago, we released a native integration with Shopify Translate & Adapt. Today, we released an integration with Shopify Flow.
Shopify Flow is a free tool (app) built by Shopify and available on the app store to all merchants, including the ones using the Shopify Basic plan (it wasn't always the case!). Using Flow, you can set up automations in your store using so-called triggers (i.e., when) and actions (what). The possibilities are endless, and there are dozens of premade templates to get you started.
Upsell offer sold trigger
Our trigger is called "Candy Rack upsell offer sold," and it triggers when the submitted order contains a product that was offered through Candy Rack as an upsell or cross-sell.
The typical use cases include the following scenarios:
- Tag customer when he purchases an upsell (download flow)
- Send an e-mail when a specific upsell is sold (download flow)
To create your flow using an upsell trigger, go to store admin Apps > Flow > Create workflow > Select a trigger > Candy Rack > Candy Rack upsell offer sold and start building.
Redesigned offers overview
Besides the Flow integration, we also redesigned the upsell overview on the Candy Rack dashboard. It now supports the following actions:
- Filtering by placement, status, and targeting
- Search by offer name
- Sorting by last update or status
- Bulk action for activating, deactivating, deleting, or duplicating offers
The new actions and views are useful for merchants with dozens or hundreds of offers, allowing them to navigate more easily.
