Localize Candy Rack offers using Shopify Translate & Adapt

Learn how to translate all your Candy Rack upsell offers using metaobjects and Shopify Translate & Adapt app.

Localize Candy Rack offers using Shopify Translate & Adapt

Candy Rack merchants can now fully localize their upsell offers using the free Shopify Translate & Adapt app. Localized content is essential if you run a store in multiple languages.

To translate Candy Rack offers, we use metaobjects that are seamlessly integrated with Shopify native translations.

Candy Rack translations are separated into two parts:

  • Pop-up translations
  • Offer description translations

See the demonstration of translating the Candy Rack pop-up in the video below.

Note that product names are translated automatically as we take the localized name from your product catalog.

How to translate pop-up content

To translate the pop-up content, open your Candy Rack app and navigate to Customization > Translations > Manage translations.

Translating Candy Rack pop-up content

The metaobject "Candy Rack Custom Wording Popup" will open, and you can translate all static content on the pop-up (i.e., title, subtitle, button labels, etc.).

How to translate offer description text

To translate offer descriptions (i.e., the text displayed below the upsell product name), open your Candy Rack app and navigate to specific upsell offer > Description > Manage translations.

Translating Candy Rack offer description

The metaobject "Candy Rack Custom Wording Product Offer [ID]" will open, and you can translate the offer description.

Alternatively, you can also translate all Candy Rack content by going to Shopify Translate & Adapt app > Metaobjects and translating the metaobjects with the "Candy Rack" name.

There is no limit on the number of languages. And, of course, you can take advantage of the auto-translations provided by Google Translate (there is a limit of two languages). We hope this helps to increase your store performance on multilingual storefronts.
